Shekhinah Morgan

Shekhinah
Morgan was born and spent much of her life in South Australia. She now lives on the Mid-North Coast of NSW.

Shekhinah is a musician, dancer, teacher and creatrix. Her work researching, writing and producing the Moon Diary and associated products grew out of a lifelong fascination for myth and ritual and her search for a Feminine Spirituality.

"Tools for the journey that come from the wellspring of the Feminine Soul."

She says,"The Moon Diary which I write and produce annually and the associated products come from my own exploration of the inner worlds. This journey challenges me to live the ordinary life in a way which recognises the sacred in each and every act and thing".

My work is about fanning the flame of the sacred feminine. When we honour this we enable ourselves to take up the values of diversity, spontaneity, compassion, beauty and self-empowerment.

She currently teaches Egyptian Dance and Middle Eastern Percussion. Together with her partner Persia, Shekhinah plays Middle eastern percussion and dances with Tarab.
